50% Welsh Government Funding Available for Training
If your organisation has employees or operations based in Wales, there is currently a valuable opportunity to access 50% Welsh Government funding towards accredited and industry-recognised training.
This funding can support investment in the very capabilities that underpin productivity, quality, engagement and long-term performance, and is currently available for training that is booked and delivered before end of March 2026.
What’s the opportunity?
Through the Flexible Skills Programme, Wales-based employees may be eligible for 50% match funding towards approved training costs.
This applies whether your organisation is fully based in Wales or operates multiple sites, provided the training is delivered to employees working at or for Wales-based operations.
The programme supports training that develops practical capability, not just attendance, making it particularly relevant for manufacturing, engineering and operational environments.
Training areas aligned to real business impact
Following discussions with our clients and engagement with the Welsh Government team administering the programme, we’ve aligned a number of CQM programmes to the funding criteria, including:
- Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement
- Leadership & Management Development
- Advanced Problem-Solving & Quality Tools (e.g. FMEA, RCA, SPC)
- Health & Safety Training (IOSH, Managing Safely, NEBOSH)
