At CQM Training & Consultancy, we recently delivered a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training programme to Britvic PLC, achieving outstanding results including a wider culture change, potential to create £4.1m in annual cost savings through work-based projects embedding the skills developed, and supporting delegates in their career progression.

The achievements of this cohort deserve huge credit, and we couldn’t be more delighted for how Britvic have engaged and approached this training. To celebrate the success, we have teamed up with Zenoot, who specialise and inspire with their UK manufacturing content, to create a deep dive insight into how this Lean Six Sigma Grene Belt training is supporting Britvic to realise significant benefits. You can visit Zenoot’s original published case study on their website along with other intersting articles and insights.

Training Impact

Our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and coaching empowered employees to lead projects focused on reducing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing sustainability. As a result, this has already led to over £1 million in annual cost savings through impactful work-based projects, with potential for even further savings of up to £4.1million.

In addition to financial benefits, the programme played a key role in supporting Britvic’s wider culture of continuous improvement and professional development. One delegate, Louise Rewcastle-Adams, even received a well-deserved job promotion to Category Demand Planning Manager.

Both Louise and Mark Young, Head of Continuous Improvement who organised this training, share their perspective throughout this case study including detail on Louise’s project around CO2 emissions working with an external customer, the work she is doing to sponsor Yellow Belts and a host of other benefits this training has brought about.

The biggest feature for us is how Britvic are fostering a culture of continuous improvement, creating cross departmental innovation and change, and how they are looking at the bigger picture of sustainability. With more programmes scheduled due to the demand this has driven internally and how Britvic are aligning their strategy we are excited to see what comes next. But for now, check out our latest case study and discover how you might take advantage of lean/continuous improvement training!

“Two years ago, we identified the need for structured training that could enhance our improvement projects and drive business change across all levels of the organisation, the quality of CQM’s training and their ability to coach it effectively into our teams really set them apart.

Mark Youung

Head of Continuous Improvement

“The transformation in how our teams now approach their work has been incredible. CQM’s training didn’t just help us hit target or boost outputs; it fundamentally changed the way people think and feel about their roles.

The techniques gained through the course have empowered us to step back, see the bigger picture and make real, impactful improvements. This shift in mindset is massive – not just for individuals but for Britvic as a whole.”
