This training will equip your employees with the key skills to improve productivity, optimise their work processes and participate in wider continuous improvement projects. Investing in LSS training for your employees is essential for continued sustainability and growth.
White Belt training is ideal for individuals who build a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology. It’s an introductory course so it’s suitable for professionals with a very limited understanding of LSS principles regardless of their level within an organisation.
Our White Belt certification is suitable for:
- Employees new to Lean Six Sigma. If your employees are just starting their journey with Lean Six Sigma and want to understand the fundamentals, a White Belt training course can be a good starting point.
- Project team members. Project team members who are involved in Lean Six Sigma projects but are not expected to lead or manage them can benefit from White Belt training. It provides a basic understanding of the methodology and tools that can support their contributions to improvement projects.
- Managers and supervisors. Managers and supervisors who want to have a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and how they can be applied to their teams and processes can also take a White Belt course.
- Cross-functional teams. In organisations that are implementing Lean Six Sigma, cross-functional teams may include individuals with different levels of training. White Belt training can help ensure that all team members have a basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts.
- Stakeholders looking to implement Lean Six Sigma. Our Lean and Six Sigma programmes are ideal for any stakeholder who is considering the implementation of continuous improvement into their processes and perhaps is looking to roll out training to the wider teams. There’s no better way of understanding the benefit and suitability of a programme than experiencing it first hand.

As this is an introductory course, delegates do not need to have studied Lean Six Sigma methodology previously. However, delegates may find it useful to have some awareness of Lean and Six Sigma principles which could have been gained through a Lean Awareness course.
What Is Lean Six Sigma?
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a methodology for improving business processes, combining two well-established management approaches: Lean and Six Sigma.
- Lean is a philosophy that seeks to eliminate waste from processes in order to maximise customer value. It promotes continuous improvement through small, incremental changes that help teams work more efficiently and effectively.
- Six Sigma is a data-driven set of techniques aimed at enhancing the quality of business processes by reducing errors and defects. It aspires to near-perfect performance, with fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities. This level of quality is achieved through the DMAIC framework – Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, and Control.
