Celebrating Success: New England Seafood International – Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training
Following recent bespoke green belt training at New England Seafood International’s Chessington site, we thought what better way than to capture and celebrate the success of their green belt latest cohort than a case study with a deep dive into a learner’s perspective and key stakeholder feedback.
The teams have achieved fantastic results, gaining well deserved lean six sigma green belt accreditation as well as establishing more than £100k in cost savings through their green belt projects.
If you’re considering doing lean six sigma green belt training, or even a funded green belt apprenticeship this is a great case study to find out more from a learner’s perspective including examples of the broad range of projects you can get involved with.
Likewise, from an organisational perspective you can further understand the significant benefits and returns on investment that can be achieved with green belt training, and how investing in your people is so important to realising your organisational aims and successes.
We caught up with Jack Pesterfield, Group Asset Care & PPM Manager who attended the green belt training and has since gained lean six sigma green belt accreditation thanks to his hard work, how he has embraced the tools and techniques learned, all demonstrated in his fantastic project with clear tangible results he and New England Seafood International can be proud of.
Huge congratulations to all the New England Seafood International green belt graduates, Emme de Beer and the wider senior leadership and management teams involved. There were some brilliant comments for the project presentations which you can find in the case study as well as some thoughts from our development coach who delivered the green belt training, Wyn Griffiths.
“I had an immense feeling of pride as I watched and listened to a talented bunch of our future business leaders confidently talk about and provide compelling evidence of the new skills and ways of thinking/working they had been learning about.
The level of insight that they have returned through their projects is at a level we have not seen before at Chessington.“
