Celebrating Our Apprentices: Exclusive Funding for Post-Apprenticeship Recognition
At CQM Training & Consultancy, we’re passionate about championing the achievements of our apprentices. That’s why we’re thrilled to share some fantastic news for those who have recently completed their apprenticeship with us!
Occupational Awards Limited (OAL), a not-for-profit End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), is leading the way in professional recognition by offering full funding for the Post-Apprenticeship Recognition Scheme (PARS) to all apprentices who complete their End-Point Assessment (EPA) with them.
What is the Post-Apprenticeship Recognition Scheme (PARS)?
Developed by the Association of Apprentices (AoA) and the Chartered Institution for Further Education (CIFE), the PARS scheme has been created to provide a prestigious professional status for qualified apprentices. Those who successfully apply will receive an official certificate and post-nominal designation (official letters after their name) —CSA, CAA, CHA, or CGA—highlighting their expertise and dedication within their field.
Who is Eligible for Funding?
If you have completed your Improvement Practitioner Level 4 or Improvement Specialist Level 5 apprenticeship (post 21st October 2024) with CQM Training & Consultancy, you could be eligible for a bursary covering 100% of your PARS application fee. This means you can achieve professional recognition at no cost through OAL’s fully funded bursary scheme. This is in addition to your optional lean six sigma accreditation through Instructus Skills for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Why is PARS Important for Apprentices?
An apprenticeship is more than just a qualification—it’s a journey of personal and professional growth. From mastering industry-specific processes to developing workplace confidence and effective time management, apprentices gain invaluable skills that set them apart in their careers.
The PARS scheme recognises this transformation and helps apprentices showcase their expertise, ensuring that the knowledge and experience they’ve gained are officially acknowledged and respected. By securing a post-nominal designation, apprentices can strengthen their professional profile, enhancing career progression opportunities and industry credibility.
How to Apply for PARS Funding
OAL is offering a bursary (voucher) to cover 100% of the PARS fees, which typically range from £40 – £75 depending on the apprenticeship level (Level 2 to Level 7). To qualify, apprentices must:
✅ Have completed their apprenticeship in the UK with OAL.
✅ Possess their official apprenticeship completion certificate.
