Our Open Programme Approach

Our accessible open programmes are delivered online by one of our industry experienced development coaches, making them much more convenient wherever learners are based. This means that individuals and smaller groups can join a programme with likeminded participants from other organisations which creates an incredible support network, sharing of best practice and insightful discussions.

We take a look at the open programmes currently scheduled for 2024/25, including our apprenticeship programmes and our popular shorter training courses.

Apprenticeship Programmes

Our apprenticeship programmes are designed to blend hands-on experience with academic learning, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for successful careers in their chosen fields. Here’s a closer look:

Process Leader Level 4

The Process Leader Level 4 programme focuses on developing advanced skills in process management, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Participants will learn how to drive productivity, manage resources effectively, and lead their teams to success. This is an essential course for any manufacturer with a production line or embedded processes looking to support, improve and future proof their operations.

Food Technologist Level 3

For those passionate about the food, feed and/or drink industry, or even organisations with Food Technology/NPD departments (pharmaceutical, retail, restaurants/hospitality) our Food Technologist Level 3 programme offers a comprehensive curriculum covering food science, quality control, and production processes. This programme is ideal for individuals seeking to ensure the highest standards of food safety and innovation within their organisations, which in turn supports organisations to become more efficient, innovative and respond to demands of customers and external influences.

Improvement Practitioner Level 4

Our Improvement Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship is designed for professionals committed to driving continuous improvement within their businesses. This programme provides in-depth training on methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, enabling participants to identify areas for improvement, implement effective solutions, and measure their impact.

Commercial Training Programmes

In addition to our apprenticeship offerings, we are excited to introduce new opem commercial training programmes in Lean and Six Sigma with our essential Lean Awareness programme and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

These are much shorter in duration, and really pack a punch to ensure maximum impact. We do not cram in lots of different topics, but instead explore key themes and concepts in detail to ensure deep understanding of the subject matter, its applicability in the workplace relevant to each person’s role, supporting with the identification of future skills development.

These courses are perfect for professionals looking to enhance their skill sets and organisations with smaller numbers of employees that they can release. It also helps line managers of apprentices and learners on a relatble programme, as well as for decision makers to understand how CQM deliver – we are keen to share how important it is to choosing the right lean six sigma trainer provider.

Closed Programme Delivery

We also deliver all of these as tailored programmes bespoke to each organisation incorporating specific goals, values and terminology as well as delivery dates and format to suit busy schedules and working across different sites/shifts. We adopt a consultancy based approach to understand your requirements, following which we make recommendations based on our significant experience working with our incredible clients – some of which you can see here.
