Andy Cheshire, Operations Director at CQM Training & Consultancy Ltd has been asked to be a guest speaker at Sheffield Hallam University’s Food and Drink industry event: ‘Gaining competitive advantage through lean processes’. The event will be held at Sheffield Hallam’s Owen Building on the 2nd February 2015 at 9.30am.
Andy will be specifically speaking about the ‘Applications of lean within the food industry’ contributing towards recent discussion around the latest developments in lean processes and how they can improve the competitiveness and profitability of your business.
Other guest speakers on the day will include: Dr Martin Howarth – Director of the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, Dr Dong Zhang – Senior Lecturer in Engineering Management at Sheffield Hallam University, Dr David Clegg Senior Lecturer and lead consultant with Sheaf Solutions at Sheffield Hallam University and Ross Townshend lean solutions manager at Bosch Rexroth.
The event will also provide representatives and attendees from the food and drink industry with the opportunity to discuss some of their ideas and challenges with lean specialists on the day.
